How To Apply
Applying for a rental property, especially in today’s market, can be challenging. Below are the steps to rent one of our properties, from finding the property to signing the paperwork. Our goal is to make the application process as easy to understand and straightforward as possible.

Search Our Available Rentals
Search our currently available rentals to see if one will work for you. We update our listings regularly, so check back often. Properties that show as “Pending” have application(s) already submitted for them, but they may become available again if the previous application does not work out.
Fill Out Our Rental Questionnaire
Once you have found a property that you are interested in, please drive by the property. After you have seen the neighborhood and the exterior of property in person, fill out our Rental Questionnaire. This gives us your contact information as well as some basic information about you and your availability to view the property. Please be as complete as you can when filling out the Questionnaire.
Note: the Rental Questionnaire is not an application to rent the property.
Schedule a Showing
After you submit your Rental Questionnaire, wait for us to contact you to schedule a time to view the interior of the property.
Submit a Tenant Application
If you decide that the property still is a good fit after viewing the interior, you will need to submit a formal Tenant Application. We recommend that you fill out the application before your viewing appointment so you can submit it and any application fee to the showing agent. See our application page for more information.
Note: Do not submit a Tenant Application until after you have viewed the interior of the property.
Moving In
After your Tenant Application is approved we will contact you to pay your holding deposit and schedule a move in appointment at our office. You can find more about the move-in process on our Tenant Information page.
Our application fee is $25 for each adult listed on the application.

Yes. Most of our properties require a one-year lease.
If you find one of our properties listed on different website for less or with different contact information it is a scam.
The rentals shown on this website are exclusively listed and managed by us.
We do not have set requirements. When screening applicants we look at your credit history, employment history, income, rental history, criminal background check, and other factors as appropriate.
We do not discriminate because of race, color, creed or national origin, marital status, age, sex, source of income, or any other forms of discrimination prohibited by law.
We try to process applications quickly. In most instances processing takes only a day or two.
Most of our properties will consider pets on a case by case basis. Properties that do not allow pets will be noted on that property’s listing page.

I first began using Cornerstone in 2010. The house was vacant. They found an awesome tenant who has been in the house since. They takes care of everything, I never have to get involved with any issues they just handle them. Initially we had a problem with the owner wanting to handle repairs himself and they worked through that with him right away in a way that there were no hard feelings. Tom has very good people skills and is always responsive. I recently called him with a question about which I was unsure. He offered to call the government office involved and called me back with all of the information I needed. I couldn't have appreciated that more! After my mother had a stroke she needed assisted living. I called Cornerstone and met with Tom at her home. He appraised the home and advertised the home for rent. The home was rented quickly. Tom took care of all maintenance, collecting rent, and any problems that occurred. The house needed to be sold after a year and a half. Again Tom took control of bringing in sub contractors to prepare the property for sale. He listed and sold the home in 35 days.
