Tenant Information
Cornerstone Property Management works with individual property owners to manage their rental property. We are hired by them to act as their agent and take on all the duties of the landlord.
The rentals shown on this website are exclusively managed by us. We are not a prepaid rental listing service that sells information about available properties.

Moving In
The move in process starts when your application is approved.
As soon as it is approved, we will contact you to let you know. We will also schedule a move in date, an appointment at our office to sign paperwork, and have you pay a non-refundable holding deposit. This deposit is credited toward your move in costs when you come in to sign your Lease or Rental Agreement.
At this appointment you will also receive a packet containing a copy the documents you signed, required disclosures, an emergency contact number, and the keys.
Moving Out
Letting us know of your plans to move is the first step in the move out process. You can submit your 30-day notice that you are moving by email. Please make sure to include your name, address, and the date you are moving with your notice. Your notice must be submitted at least 30 days before the day you intend to move out.
More information about the move out process, including information about pro-rated rent, security deposit refunds, and more, can be found in our Move-out Instructions.
Renter’s Insurance
Renter’s insurance is a great way to protect you and your personal property from unforeseen events, like water damage or fire. Most all Rental Agreements state that your personal property is not insured by the Landlord. Thus, the landlord’s insurance policy does not cover you or your possessions.
Most likely, having Renter’s Insurance is also required by your Rental Agreement or Lease. If Renter’s Insurance is required by your Rental Agreement, make sure to maintain coverage during your entire tenancy.
Renters insurance is often quick and easy to get. It is also inexpensive, possibly as low as $15 per month. Liability coverage may also be available. If you need help finding Renter’s Insurance coverage, please talk to your insurance agent for options.
Call the emergency phone number listed in your move-in packet. The number is located on the back of the business card provided, on your rules and regulations, and on the “how to submit a repair request” paper. After calling the number, if possible, also submit a Repair Request.
You can request repairs on our Repair Request form. Please be as detailed as possible when describing the problem you are having. You can include pictures and video to help describe the problem.
